What are the minimum PPE requirements when outside your truck at the trailer hoist?*
- High viz, hard hat, boots and gloves
- Hi-viz, hard hat and boots

Where should you have your trailer positioned for lift?*
- The lifting zone
- The trailer hoist area
- The pick up zone
- The dead ball zone

How often (as a minimum) should you visually check your trailer lifting chain?*
- At the gantry before every lift
- At the start of each day
- Once a week
- Once a month with the service

If you notice visual defects on the chain when you check it, what should you do?*
- Get it fixed next time you are at the workshop
- Lift trailer and sort it out later
- Do not lift the trailer, take it away to be repaired
- Tell the workshop

What height off the ground should you aim for before swinging the drawbar under the trailer?*
- Head height
- 550mm
- 1 to 2 metres

At what point of the lifting operation should you put your body under the trailer?*
- Never
- When you need to do some maintenance
- When no one is looking
- Once it is high enough to walk under

How do you unhook the lifting hook from your chain once the trailer is lowered onto truck?*
- Use the bar provided to do this from the ground
- Climb onto truck and remove
- It will come off by itself
- Get someone else to do it

Once trailer is loaded and hook lifted what needs to be done before driving off?*
- Secure trailer to truck, plug trailer lights in where required, check everything works
- Get someone to give you the thumbs up
- Take PPE off and leave
- Nothing, just leave

If you breach one of the rules at the trailer hoist, what will be the outcome?*
- Nothing
- A warning from the port company and the boss
- A 24 hour stand down
- Access will be denied onto the port

If there are issues with the operation of the trailer hoist or incidents occur, who should you report these too?*
- The next driver
- The port company via their representatives, or security, or at the Eastland Port office
