Eastland Group operates Eastland Port, Gisborne Airport and Eastland Network, along with our renewable energy generation portfolio. We provide strong financial returns to our sole shareholder, Trust Tairāwhiti. And now we’re transforming for the future with a focus on sustainable development.
For us, sustainability is about acting in a way that benefits the environment and the communities we operate in – while at the same time creating value for our investors. We approach sustainability with a local, national and international lens, and consider the needs of both current and future generations.
The community is at the heart of everything we do. By delivering on our commercial responsibilities, we directly support Tairāwhiti’s economic growth and wellbeing. And we enable Trust Tairāwhiti to make their own distributions to benefit the people who live in the place we call home.
